Silvia Park, Chief Executive Officer With more than two decades of business management experience, Silvia Park, founder and CEO of SilTek, Inc., provides the vision and leadership to the only Mid-Atlantic woman owned professional services firm focused on renewable energy and information technology. With a background in law and international business, Ms. Park brings an international perspective to energy management and information technology working with vendors and suppliers around the globe to implement world class solutions. Under Ms. Park's leadership, SilTek continues steady growth in size and reputation becoming one of the country's foremost professional and knowledgeable renewable energy solutions firms serving federal, commercial, and residential customers. Ms. Park holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management from George Mason University. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia.
Eric Zelsdorf, Chief Technology Officer As SilTek's CTO, Eric Zelsdorf brings more than 20 years of diverse technology expertise in support of the company's strategic direction. Mr. Zelsdorf provides expertise in systems engineering, information technology, and emergency management experience related to enterprise and solutions architecture, governance, program management support, systems design and implementation, service oriented architecture (SOA) design, information assurance, accreditation, and integration. He was the principal architect for the first "out of the box" SOA implementation known as Aquifer.
Mr. Zelsdorf also brings more than 8 years of energy engineering and energy architecture to the SilTek team, providing guidance into emerging markings (such as solar, wind, geothermal, hydro), power purchase agreements (PPA), and the application of enterprise architecture to complex energy programs. He also provides technology guidance to the client in the application of renewable energy to disaster response. He holds an M.S. in Systems Engineering and a B.S. in Chemistry from the George Washington University.
Barbara Schipper, Chief Operating Officer Barbara Schipper brings more than 25 years of leadership and management experience in both government and commercial business. She currently provides direction for the operations for SilTek and oversight for the development of federal budgeting systems, systems development, geographic information systems (GIS), consulting services, business solutions, corporate operations, task performance, client management and other key projects. As a corporate officer, she is responsible for corporate operations and human resources and she is a member of the Board of Directors for SilTek. She manages a technical staff of analysts and programmers that conduct full life cycle development activities for SilTek's client. Activities included monitoring task progress and schedule adherence, quality assurance, perparing management reports, developing technical and cost proposals for time and material (T&M) tasks, staffing, marketing, and extensive client interation.
